They exchanged vows on the rooftop of Jackie’s mom’s condo in Waterloo, surrounded by the people who know them best. The city stretched out around us, the early fall air was soft and golden, and everything about the ceremony felt calm and grounded. Afterward, everyone made their way to Lala Social House, where the celebration unfolded exactly as it should: slowly, joyfully, and with a lot of laughter. Long conversations over incredible food. Glasses clinking. Hugs that lingered. Espresso martinis flowing freely as the night went on (arguably the true MVP of the evening).
What stood out most was the ease of it all. Jackie and Rob were fully present — soaking in each moment, laughing with their people, and moving through the night without a single ounce of pressure or expectation. It felt less like a “wedding” and more like an intimate dinner party celebrating something incredibly meaningful.
